The weirdness of “LORDS OF SALEM” on display in new image
Rob Zombie’s latest film, THE LORDS OF SALEM is a departure. His personality is entirely intact, but veering off into more evocative dream-like places, and part of that is the array of creatures that populate the film’s frames, hovering around Sheri Moon Zombie’s Heidi. One such hell beast makes an appearance the film’s latest still.
Opening April 19 in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, DC, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Detroit and more, THE LORDS OF SALEM tells the tale of Heidi, a radio station DJ living in Salem, Massachusetts, who receives a strange wooden box containing a record, a “gift from the Lords.” Heidi listens, and the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of the town’s violent past. Is Heidi going mad, or are the “Lords of Salem” returning for revenge on modern-day Salem?
