Texas Frightmare Weekend 2016: “SCREAM”, “DAY OF THE DEAD” Drafthouse Screenings Announced!


With less than a month before Texas Frightmare Weekend 2016 kicks off at the Hyatt Regency DFW, fright fans are chomping at the bit for the Southwest’s Premiere Horror Convention to arrive. With exclusive photo-ops, highly anticipated screenings, exciting panels and much, much more, Texas Frightmare Weekend is looking to be one of its best yet, and now, FANGORIA has yet another announcement that will make it even better!

That’s right: last night, Alamo Drafthouse Dallas and Texas Frightmare Weekend formally announced the first two pre-convention screenings, featuring a pair of petrifying classics with appearances from TFW guests! First off, Alamo Drafthouse Dallas will be hosting a 30th Anniversary Screening of DAY OF THE DEAD, with a live Q&A with director George A. Romero in tow! Furthermore, Texas Frightmare Weekend and Alamo Drafthouse Dallas will present a 20th Anniversary Screening of SCREAM, complete with a post-screening Q&A with both Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich! Fright fans won’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; tickets are going quick for both events, so be sure to grab your tickets for DAY OF THE DEAD HERE and SCREAM HERE!
