Glass Eye Pix is offering many different ways to enjoy its TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE audio horror dramas, which launched its second season last month (see details here), and has now started streaming free double bills of select episodes on-line.
The TALES website is offering a Listening Room where two installments will be streaming each week. First up are a pair written by Jeff Buhler of THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN and the upcoming JACOB’S LADDER remake: season two’s STRANGER, featuring WENDIGO and I SELL THE DEAD’s John Speredakos and V/H/S and YOU’RE NEXT’s Kate Lyn Sheil in the story of four friends who head to the mountains to watch a meteor shower and encounter a strange presence in the woods, and season one’s THIS ORACLE MOON, with the voices of HELLBOY co-stars Ron Perlman and Doug Jones, about astronauts sent to find out what happened to a previous mission six years earlier.
A new duo will be made available each Tuesday; all 18 TALES are also available at the on-line store and on Audible, iTunes and Amazon, as well as in a collector’s five-CD box. Produced and curated by Glass Eye topper/filmmaker Larry Fessenden and I SELL THE DEAD director Glenn McQuaid, TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE also counts among its creative team the likes of YOU’RE NEXT scribe Simon Barrett, RED WHITE & BLUE’s Simon Rumley, THE BURROWERS and HELLBENDERS director J.T. Petty, BITTER FEAST’s Joe Maggio, GRACE’s Paul Solet and novelists Kim Newman and Sarah Langan.
