THE STRANGE COLOUR OF YOUR BODY’S TEARS, Hélène Cattet & Bruno Forzani’s latest experimental neo-giallo has brought festival audiences around the world to strange mental states. Now, it’s coming to transport you.

Variety is reporting Strand Releasing, the art-house distribution company clearly excited by strange, artful and provocative releases like James Franco’s INTERIOR.LEATHER BAR, STRANGER BY THE LAKE and Ulrich Seidl’s acclaimed PARADISE trilogy, has acquired North American rights to THE STRANGE COLOUR OF YOUR BODY’S TEARS. The Brussels-set film about a man who comes home to find his wife missing is utterly awash in evocative, colorful style, influenced heavily by giallo and Art Nouveau. It is ambiguous, tangential and totally transporting and should make for some heavily affected audiences when released.
