Snow kidding—it’s an exclusive “AVALANCHE SHARKS” clipMovies/TV,News Michael Gingold
With so many oceanbound shark movies out there, the toothy fish are now playing in the snow. That premise is treated with the appropriate tongue in cheek in an exclusive clip from AVALANCHE SHARKS, which just became available on VOD and digital HD.
Released by MarVista Digital Entertainment, AVALANCHE SHARKS (originally titled SNOW SHARKS) was directed by Scott Wheeler, who has a lot of experience with this kind of thing from his visual FX work on MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS, SAND SHARKS, MEGA PIRANHA and many others. The cast is headed by Alexander Mendeluk, Kate Nauta, Benjamin Easterday, Eric Scott Woods and Kelle Cantwell; the synopsis: “Bikini Snow Day is the busiest day of the year at Mammoth Mountain, and the resort is packed with wild coeds looking for a good time. When an unexpected avalanche rumbles down the mountain, it awakens ancient spirits in the form of massive sharks with a taste for human flesh. As the body count begins to pile up, the local sheriff must form an unlikely alliance with a motley crew of locals and tourists in order to kill off the terrifying creatures before it’s too late.”
