“SINISTER” Writers Fashion a Glass Hand on “OUTER LIMITS” Movie

As SINISTER 2 is heading toward production, co-writers Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill are re-teaming for an adaptation of the influential, beloved series THE OUTER LIMITS and its episode, “Demon With a Glass Hand.”

THR reports the two will write the film, based on the 1964 episode, for MGM. The Harlan Ellison-penned installment of the anthology series focused on a man with no memory outside of the past ten days. He’s also been outfitted with a computerized left hand and is being chased by extraterrestrials.

No word on who will direct the developing picture, though Derrickson seems unlikely has he’s just been announced for Marvel’s DR. STRANGE.
