“SHARKNADO” Director joins FANGORIA’s “COVER TO COVER” Signing at NYC’s Forbidden Planet!

SHARKNADO director Anthony C. Ferrante will join us tonight, Thursday, April 2nd at New York City’s Forbidden Planet (832 Broadway near Union Square; [212] 473-1576) to autograph Fango’s coffee table book, FANGORIA: COVER TO COVER. The star-studded event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Ferrante helmed the social media sensations SHARKNADO and SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE for Syfy and is now in production on SHARKNADO 3: OH HELL NO! In addition to an early career as one of FANGORIA’s most prolific writers, Ferrante helmed the fear features BOO, HEADLESS HORSEMAN and HANSEL & GRETEL.

Appearing with Ferrante will be genre all-stars such as: splatter king Tom Savini; legendary FAMOUS MONSTERS cover artist Basil Gogos; Larry Fessenden (director of THE LAST WINTER, HABIT, WENDIGO); Debbie Rochon (actress, Fango columnist and former host of Sirius’ much-missed FANGORIA RADIO); BASKET CASE creator Frank Henenlotter; SQUIRM director Jeff Lieberman; and screenwriter and playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (CARRIE and THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN, Broadway shows SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK and upcoming AMERICAN PSYCHO). In addition, staffers Tony Timpone, Thomas DeFeo, Michael Gingold, W.R. Mohalley and Ken Hanley will be on hand to autograph (for free!) FANGORIA: COVER TO COVER. A top-secret last-minute surprise guest, a legend in the annals of horror and sci-fi, is also expected to make a bombshell appearance. Talent will only be signing copies of COVER TO COVER (available for purchase at Forbidden Planet) and no additional items.

Please come on out and help FANGORIA celebrate its amazing 35-year-old run tonight in NYC at Forbidden Planet in the bloody heart of Union Square. For more info on FANGORIA: COVER TO COVER, published by Cemetery Dance, go here and here.
