Scream Factory Howls for Eric Red’s “BAD MOON”, Re-Announces “HELLHOLE”Movies/TV,News Ken W. Hanley
When it comes to werewolf films, horror fans are usually most familiar with the usual suspects: THE WOLF MAN, AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON and THE HOWLING. But after those films, there are some genre gems hiding among the outliers, including DOG SOLDIERS, SILVER BULLET and BAD MOON, the latter which came from the macabre mind of THE HITCHER scribe Eric Red. Now, those in the cult of BAD MOON have cause of celebration as Scream Factory announced today that they’re releasing the 1996 werewolf flick to Blu-ray.
Starring Michael Pare (STREETS OF FIRE) and Mariel Hemingway (STAR 80), BAD MOON will be hitting shelves on July 19th from Scream Factory, with more details on special features and artwork to come soon. Scream Factory also announced that they will indeed be releasing the 1985 exploitation flick HELLHOLE, a film originally announced in 2014 before materials proved to be insufficient. However, with a new print recently discovered to fill in the missing pieces, Scream Factory will be moving forward with the release on July 26th, 2016. Stay tuned for more information on both BAD MOON and HELLHOLE’s HD re-releases here at FANGORIA.com!
