Remastered “GODZILLA” Marches into NYC’s Film Forum for One Week Only!

With the release of the latest Gareth Edwards-directed installment less than a month away, GODZILLA excitement is at a fever pitch. However, fans of the kick-ass kaiju won’t have to wait that long to see it on the big screen, as the original 1954 Toho classic GODZILLA (aka Gojira) will be coming to New York’s Film Forum this very week!

For one week only (ending on Thursday, April 24th), a stunning new restoration of Ishiro Honda’s GODZILLA, uncut and featuring brand new subtitles from Bruce Goldstein and Michie Yamakawa, will be running daily at Film Forum in commemoration of the films’ 60th anniversary. This limited-engagement is being touted as the definitive version of the film, and a perfect way to prepare for the release of the 2014 GODZILLA. Of course, for GODZILLA die-hards in the New York area, this will be a no-brainer, but for more information, showtimes and tickets, please visit the theater’s website.
