Red-band “SINISTER 2” trailer reveals new killer kids and murder movies

Bughuul’s back and he’s got a new band of deadly young followers, as seen in the supremely creepy new trailer for SINISTER 2 that you can see past the jump.

Opening August 21 from Gramercy Pictures, SINISTER 2 was scripted by the original film’s Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill and directed by Ciarán Foy, who previously presented childlike killers to chilling effect in CITADEL. James Ransone returns from SINISTER as “Ex-Deputy So & So,” now a private investigator tracking the manipulative Bughuul to the Midwest, where the demon and his ghost kids are haunting a house occupied by a mother (Shannyn Sossamon) and her twin sons (Robert and Dartanian Sloan), with more of those unnerving homemade kill films on view.

SINISTER 2 is also haunting the current San Diego Comic-Con; as the PR informs, “There will be a slew of terrifying projections all over San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter tonight (Friday, July 10) and tomorrow night (Saturday, July 11) between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. Share a photo of the projection that you spot and then post it to Instagram or Twitter with #SinisterSightings for a chance to win a trip to LA with a friend and receive VIP access to Six Flags Fright Fest. For a preview of what people should be looking out for, please see this downloadable link.
