Radius-TWC to release Danish Werewolf Film, “WHEN ANIMALS DREAM”

Calling it a “groundbreaking genre film,” The Weinstein Company’s limited theatrical-VOD label Radius-TWC has acquired Danish werewolf coming-of-age title WHEN ANIMALS DREAM for U.S. release.

Making his feature debut, Jonas Arnby directs the film about a werewolf being hunted in her fishing village, while also finding love. Sonia Suhl, Sonja Richter and Lars Mikkelsen (brother of HANNIBAL lead Mads) star.

Tom Quinn, of Radius-TWC, says, “It’s extremely hard these days to find a groundbreaking genre film, but ‘When Animals Dream’ is that rare gem indeed. I haven’t been excited in Berlin since buying ‘Let the Right One In.’” [Variety]
