Official Trailers, New Looks: WWE Studios’ “SEE NO EVIL 2” and “LEPRECHAUN: ORIGINS”

Following their Thursday night San Diego Comic-Con panel and our own exclusive tease, WWE Studios have dropped the official trailers for both the Soskas-directed slasher sequel SEE NO EVIL 2 and Hornswoggle-starring reboot, LEPRECHAUN: ORIGINS.

Coming late this summer is LEPRECHAUN: ORIGINS, which is clearly taking a more monstrous approach to the folkloric villain, as you can see in the above photo as well as the new clip. In the film, out August 26th on VOD and DVD/Blu September 30th, two unsuspecting young couples discover a town’s chilling secret while backpacking through the lush Irish countryside. Ben (Dunbar), Sophie (Bennet), David (Fletcher) and Jeni (Roxburgh) quickly discover the idyllic land is not what it appears to be when the town’s residents offer the hikers an old cabin at the edge of the woods. Soon, the friends will find that one of Ireland’s most famous legends is a terrifying reality. Zach Lipovsky directs.

Hitting October 17th on demand (21st on DVD/Blu) is SEE NO EVIL 2, which sees directing duo Jen and Sylvia Soska (AMERICAN MARY) revive neo-slasher Jacob Goodnight for an old-fashioned hopsital horror romp. Synopsis: Jacob Goodnight rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell Hotel. In this ominous, underground locker for the dead, a group of medical students fight to survive as this deranged psychopath once again starts to pick them apart one by one. Danielle Harris, Katharine Isabelle and Michael Eklund star.
