NY’s Macabre Faire Film Festival begins tonight!
Want to check out the latest independent fright fare—and learn how to die in one? If you’re in the New York City area, head over to Long Island’s Macabre Faire Film Festival, which begins tonight.
Running through Sunday, June 2 at the Best Western Mill River Manor (173 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Center), Macabre Faire hosts screenings of numerous features and even more shorts. Among the full-length films showing are Ryan Scott Weber’s SHERIFF TOM VS. THE ZOMBIES, Marcus Koch’s 100 TEARS, John Orrichio’s DEAD COLLECTIONS, David Michan’s ADVERSE EFFECTS, Frank W. Montag’s CANNIBAL DINER, Ryan M. Andrews’ SICK: SURVIVE THE NIGHT, Joseph McConnell’s KUNG FU & TITTIES, Brian J. Cano and Chris Mancuso’s HAUNTED SNUG HARBOR, Tim T. Cunningham’s SICK BOY, Stevan Mena’s MALEVOLENCE, Bradley Creanzo’s BIBLE BELT SLASHER PT. II: THE HOLY TERROR! and Carlo Rodriguez’s CANNIBAL FEAST, with awards given out Sunday for both feature and short movies. Among the other attractions at Macabre Faire is a “How to Die Like a Pro” class being taught by actress Heather Drew on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. For tickets and more information, check out the fest’s official website.
