As our Tristate Area fright fans may already know, FANGORIA and the Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers team up every month to screen chilling classics, including POLTERGEIST, RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD and KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE. And to coincide with Drafthouse’s musically-infused programming this month, FANGORIA is presenting Alex Proyas’ supernatural revenge thriller THE CROW in 35mm, hosted by Fango’s Ken Hanley, on Friday, July 25 at 10 p.m.!

Marred by the real life tragedy within its production, THE CROW is a stylized action-horror hybrid based on the James O’Barr graphic novel of the same name. Starring Brandon Lee in his final theatrical performance, Proyas’ injects horror elements into comic book conventions by bringing the now-iconic Eric Draven back to life to traverse an industrial urban wasteland seeking revenge against those who brutally killed him and his girlfriend.

Featuring a rogues gallery of character actors including David Patrick Kelly (THE WARRIORS), Ernie Hudson (GHOSTBUSTERS), Tony Todd (CANDYMAN), Michael Wincott (DEAD MAN), Bai Ling (CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE) and Jon Polito (MILLER’S CROSSING), THE CROW is the quintessential angst-driven Gothic revenge film of the ’90s, which FANGORIA is proud to present on its 20th Anniversary.

You can pre-order tickets, see the trailer and get information for the screening here. You can also check out more screenings from the Yonkers Drafthouse (including CALL GIRL OF CTHULU hosted by Fango’s Michael Gingold) here.
