NYC! Fango Hosts Free Screening of “THE HUMAN RACE” on June 18!
FANGORIA will be hosting a free screening of sci-fi thriller THE HUMAN RACE in New York City next Wednesday, June 18 at 7 p.m. This special showing will be held at the Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street, off University Place). Editor emeritus Tony Timpone will be hosting the festivities.
The Fango screening of THE HUMAN RACE will be a free show; to obtain tickets, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. You must list “HUMAN RACE” as your subject line and provide us your full name. Offer is good for you and one guest. Names will be checked at the door. Offer is first come, first served, and we will confirm your rsvp. Seating is not guaranteed, however. This exclusive event is presented by our pals at XLrator Media, who will release THE HUMAN RACE in LA this Friday and on VOD and iTunes the same day.
Written and directed by Paul Hough (son of legendary horror director John Hough, of THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE fame), festival fave THE HUMAN RACE stars Paul McCarthy-Boyington, Eddie McGee, Trista Robinson, T. Arthur Cottam, Fred Coury and Richard Gale.
Here’s the official synopsis: Eighty strangers from all walks of life are ripped out of their daily lives and forced to participate in a brutal race to the death. The rules are simple; follow the arrows or you will die, step on the grass and you will die, get lapped twice and you will die. Only one participant will survive. Race or die. There can only be one winner, but who will survive and for what purpose?
