NYC! Free screening of Sci-Fi/Horror film “PANDEMIC” rises on March 28th!

Terror goes viral when FANGORIA hosts a free NYC screening of director John (THE SCRIBBLER) Suits’ new sci-fi horror thriller PANDEMIC. The screening will be held on Monday, March 28th at 7 p.m. at the Helen Mills Theater (137-139 West 26th Street). PANDEMIC stars Rachel (RAZE) Nichols, Alfie (GAME OF THRONES) Allen, Missi (GONE GIRL) Pyle and Mekhi (DAWN OF THE DEAD) Phifer and comes from the busy Gabriel Cowan, the genre-savvy producer of 400 DAYS, BAD MILO, EXTRACTED and CHEAP THRILLS.

The FANGO screening of PANDEMIC will be a free show; to obtain tickets, send an e-mail to fangoriascreening@gmail.com. You must list “PANDEMIC” as your subject line and provide us your full name. Offer is good for you and one guest. Names will be checked at the door. Offer is first come, first served, and we will confirm your rsvp. Seating is not guaranteed, however. This exclusive event is presented by our pals at XLrator Media, who release PANDEMIC to theaters on April 1st and on iTunes and VOD on April 5th.

Scripted by first-timer Dustin T. Benson, here’s the official synopsis for the movie:

Pandemic is set in the near future, where a virus of epic proportions has overtaken the planet. There are more infected than uninfected, and humanity is losing its grip on survival. Its only hope is finding a cure and keeping the infected contained. Lauren (Nichols) is a doctor, who, after the fall of New York, comes to Los Angeles to lead a team to hunt for and rescue uninfected survivors.”

So inoculate yourself and come catch PANDEMIC on March 28th. FANGO editor emeritus Tony Timpone will be hosting the show, plus expect some extra surprises. See here for info on Fango’s March 21st movie show in NYC and watch for more announcements soon.
