Writer/director Katie Aselton’s survival-horror film BLACK ROCK opens theatrically tomorrow from LD Entertainment, and FANGORIA will be present at one of its New York City showcases with one of its stars appearing in person.

Actress Lake Bell will be on hand for the 7:10 show of BLACK ROCK tomorrow, May 17 at Manhattan’s Village East Cinema (181-189 2nd Avenue), and Fango’s Michael Gingold will join her to introduce the movie and for a Q&A afterward; there will also be a signed poster giveaway. Bell (whom genre fans will remember from the sci-fi series SURFACE and who is also part of the ensemble of the cult black-comedy show CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL), Aselton and Kate Bosworth play childhood friends who reunite for a vacation trip to a remote island off the coast of Maine, where they run afoul of a trio of hunters who make the women their prey. Aselton talks about the movie here and in Fango #323, on sale now.
