NY! Win tickets to Cannon Films this weekend at Lincoln Center!

,

As part of its Film Comment Selects series that runs February 20-March 5, New York City’s Film Society of Lincoln Center is paying tribute to ’80s horror/action/exploitation specialists Cannon Films, and we’ve got tickets for a bunch of those shows to give away!

We’re offering a pair of tickets to each to the following screenings, all showing at the Walter Reade Theater, 165 West 65th Street:

• ELECTRIC BOOGALOO: THE WILD, UNTOLD STORY OF CANNON FILMS, a documentary on the company and its many insane productions by Mark Hartley, creator of NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD: Friday, February 20 at 8:30 p.m.

• NINJA III: THE DOMINATION, Sam Firstenberg’s utterly bonkers entry in the Sho Kosugi martial-arts series, incoporating supernatural possession, aerobics, the erotic use of V-8 juice and more: Friday, February 20 at 10:45 p.m.

• THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN, Boaz Davidson’s hit teen sex comedy starring the luminous Diane Franklin: Saturday, February 21 at 1 p.m.

• 10 TO MIDNIGHT (pictured above), J. Lee Thompson’s perverse thriller with Charles Bronson pursuing a maniac who murders women in the nude: Saturday, February 21 at 3 p.m.

To enter to win tickets, send an e-mail to FANGORIAScreening@gmail.com and be sure to put “Cannon Films” in the subject line and include your full name and e-mail address. You can enter for up to three screenings—but please, only for movies you definitely plan to attend if you win. Hurry—deadline for entries is noon tomorrow, Thursday, February 19, and we will notify the winners that afternoon via e-mail; tickets will be held at the box office in their names. Good luck, and for more info on the Film Comment Selects series, click here.
