NY! See “THE COMPANY OF WOLVES” in 35mm at Alamo Drafthouse this Friday, with Fango’s Michael Gingold!

One of the most visually striking horror/fantasy films ever made is back on the big screen as this month’s FANGORIA-hosted presentation at the New York-area Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

THE COMPANY OF WOLVES, the 1984 film that marked director Neil Jordan’s first venture into the supernatural, screens in 35mm this Friday, January 9 at 10 p.m. at the Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers, just north of Manhattan (2548 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY), introduced by Fango’s Michael Gingold. Adapted from the written works of Angela Carter, COMPANY OF WOLVES is a grim fairy tale that spins a lycanthropic variation on the classic Little Red Riding Hood story, starring Sarah Patterson as the young girl confronting the beast within men and featuring veteran actors David Warner, Angela Lansbury and, in the second of his many turns for Jordan, Stephen Rea. This lush and chilling film is a must-see theatrical experience, so come check it out! For more info on the screening and to order tickets, click here.
