NY! See “KILLER KLOWNS” in 35mm at the Alamo Drafthouse with Fango’s Michael Gingold!

Want to put your fear of clowns to the test? The New York-area Alamo Drafthouse is offering a rare 35mm screening of the Chiodo Brothers’ KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE next month, hosted by FANGORIA’s own Michael Gingold!

KILLER KLOWNS, the filmmaking debut of Stephen, Charles and Edward Chiodo (the FX madmen behind CRITTERS, PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE, TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE and many more), will be shown on film—the way it oughta be—on Friday, June 20 at 10 p.m. at the Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers, just north of Manhattan (2548 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY). Gingold will introduce the movie, in which a young couple (Grant Cramer and Suzanne Snyder) try to defend their small town against an invasion of greasepainted aliens while running into resistance from hardass local cop John Vernon. Go here for more info and to pre-order tickets, and learn about the theater’s other screenings (including a showing of NEON MANIACS tonight with Fango’s Ken Hanley) at its official website.
