New poster/trailer: Bobcat Goldthwait’s Bigfoot movie “WILLOW CREEK”

Diverging from his usual blackly satiric comedies, writer/director Bobcat Goldthwait goes for the fear with his documentary-style Sasquatch saga WILLOW CREEK. A new poster and trailer have just emerged.

Debuting in theaters and on VOD June 6 from Dark Sky Films, WILLOW CREEK stars Bryce Johnson as a Bigfoot enthusiast who brings his girlfriend (Alexie Gilmore) with him on a trip to the Northern California forests where the man-beast was captured on the famous Patterson-Gimlin film. He hopes to get his own video evidence of the creature’s existence, and after he interviews several area residents about the legend, the couple head into the trees—where they are frightened by strange sounds and worse after night falls. Entertainment Weekly debuted the poster; click on that link to check out the latest trailer.
