New Poster, Screening Presentation: Ken Hanley’s Horror Book, “THE I IN EVIL”

Coming off of a successful screening tie-in at Mile High Horror 2015, buzz is at a fever pitch for FANGORIA’s Managing Editor Ken Hanley’s satirical, horror send-up of self-help books, THE I IN EVIL. Featuring frightening illustrations from Marvel/DC Comics alumni Adam Wallenta (which you can see HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE) as well as FANGO’s reveal of the official cover, FANGORIA is excited to share the latest from THE I IN EVIL including a brand new poster and an upcoming NY tie-in screening!

For those unfamiliar, here’s the official synopsis for THE I IN EVIL…

FANGORIA Magazine’s Ken Hanley has devoted his life of uplifting the spirits and changing the lives of monsters across this great nation of ours. Vampires, Mummies, Wolfmen, Gill-men and Monsters (Frankenstein’s or Otherwise) will finally be able to step out of the shadows after reading THE I IN EVIL and be the social, conscientious citizens without the psycho-and-sociological issues that plague mankind every day.

THE I IN EVIL is not meant for humans. This book contains dark, terrifying truths and the author relinquishes any and all responsibility for any actions taken against monsters or themselves as a result of this book.

The latest poster, which premiered yesterday at Shock Till You Drop, comes from badass art mastermind Todd Spence, whose wicked work earned a reputation as one of the finest geek artists on the web. It’s the second of four posters that will be released throughout the world of horror leading up to the horror comedy book’s October 20th release date.

THE I IN EVIL will also be presenting the Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers screening of Tod Browning’s DRACULA on Saturday, October 24th. The screening will be at 7:00 p.m. and will be preceded by an introduction from Hanley specified on the behavioral etiquette of vampires. You can find tickets to this one-night-only event HERE.
