Neil Marshall, Axelle Carolyn, John Skipp & More Tell “TALES OF HALLOWEEN”

Horror anthologies are once again in vogue, making it an exciting time for genre fans, indeed. Who doesn’t love the portmanteau, containing a variety of monsters and mad tales from an array of filmmaking, filmmaker and international perspectives? Epic Pictures Group is getting in on the fun, recruiting an ensemble of horror creatives, who all happen to double as dyed-in-the-wool horror fans, for All Hallows-centric omnibus, TALES OF HALLOWEEN.

Deadline reports TALES OF HALLOWEEN “will collect ten segments from eleven directors into one interconnected series of stories, all set in a sleepy American suburb terrorized by ghouls, aliens, and killers one Halloween night.” The official roster sees contributions from Joe Begos (ALMOST HUMAN), Darren Lynn Bousman (REPO!), Axelle Carolyn (SOULMATE), Adam Gierasch (FRACTURED), Andrew Kasch & John Skipp, Mike Mendez (THE CONVENT, BIG ASS SPIDER!), Dave Parker (THE HILLS RUN RED), Ryan Schifrin (ABOMINABLE) and Paul Solet (GRACE).

Carolyn, who recently saw release of feature debut SOULMATE and directed the Halloween-set THE HALLOWEEN KID, is producing alongside Epic and Mendez. Marshall, who most recently helmed the CONSTANTINE pilot as well as massive GAME OF THRONES episodes, says, “It’s so great to be working with such a unique and talented group of directors. Many of ‘The October Society’ have been friends for years, so when Axelle had the idea of combining our talents for an anthology based on our mutual love of Halloween and all things scary, it was a no-brainer.”

TALES OF HALLOWEEN is expected to shoot in November. Find the sales art, above.
