Trailer: South American 3D Neo-Giallo, “NECROPHOBIA”

NecrophobiaFeature

The stylistic influence of giallo is hovering heavily over contemporary horror, especially with a group of filmmakers in South America. In just recent months, we’ve brought word of the unique homage SONNO PROFONDO (aka DEEP SLEEP) from Argentina, as well as Italian-horror infused high school flick MALDITO AMOR from Chile. You can now add the very neat-looking, also Argentinian NECROPHOBIA 3D—the latest film from JENNIFER’S SHADOW (aka CHRONICLE OF THE RAVEN) director Daniel de la Vega—to the list.

NECROPHOBIA features music by the legendary Claudio Simonetti (Goblin), and while there’s no official plot to share just yet, the debut trailer’s elegant, teasing imagery, replete with cracked doll heads, black gloves, sharp objects and spilled blood, should be plenty to go on.
