Nature continues to run amok in “QUEEN CRAB” and “LLAMAGEDDON,” with trailers!

The animal kingdom will apparently never stop being pissed off at us, and two more species are going on the warpath in QUEEN CRAB and LLAMAGEDDON. Read on for info and trailers on these new indie pics.

Wild Eye Releasing has announced that it will unleash QUEEN CRAB on DVD in September, with bonus features to be announced. This homage to ’50s creature features and Ray Harryhausen-style stop-motion was written and directed by Brett Piper, the filmmaker/FX artist behind THE SCREAMING DEAD, ARACHNIA, BACTERIUM and others. The synopsis goes like this: “A meteor crashes into a quiet lake in the remote countryside, awakening a centuries-old beast. She emerges from the deep and tears through a nearby town and its inhabitants. The humans must fight for their lives and stop this Queen Crab before she can hatch an army of babies that will overrun the entire world.” We’ll bring you more details as we find ’em out!

Meanwhile, director Howie Dewin (get it?) has LLAMAGEDDON coming and…well, we’ll let the tagline and trailer (which has a bit of NSFW language) do the talking: “A killer llama from outer space crash lands on Earth bringing death and destruction to everyone in its path.” Learn more about the flick at its Facebook page.
