Mimi Rogers added to “ASH VS. EVIL DEAD” castMovies/TV,News Michael Gingold
ASH VS. EVIL DEAD, the Starz series expanding on the universe of the Sam Raimi favorites, has added a co-star of another cult classic to its ensemble.
The network has announced that Mimi Rogers, who played the mom to Emily Perkins and Katharine Isabelle in GINGER SNAPS (pictured above), will play Suzy Maxwell in ASH VS. EVIL DEAD. Suzy is the mother of Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo), who’s trying to escape her wild past, and she is reunited with her family after a freak accident. Bruce Campbell, of course, stars in ASH VS. EVIL DEAD, continuing his battle with the Deadites, also joined by XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS’ Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago and Jill Marie Jones. Raimi, Campbell, their longtime partner Rob Tapert and Craig DiGregorio are executive-producing ASH VS. EVIL DEAD; Raimi is directing the first episode, which is set to air this fall. Look for plenty of Fango ASH VS. EVIL DEAD coverage as the show gets closer to premiering.
