“LADY DEATH” is coming back, and you can help her rampage!

,

Back in 1991, horror comics maven Brian Pulido created LADY DEATH as a spinoff to his hit EVIL ERNIE, and she became a cult favorite in her own right. Now Pulido is bringing her back via his new Coffin Comics company, and he’s inviting fans to help fund her.

Pulido has launched a Kickstarter page to help finance LADY DEATH: CHAOS RULES #1, which will be a 48-page square-bound graphic novel featuring an all-new original story by Pulido, co-written by Eisner Award winner Brian Augustyn. It will feature interior penciling by Dheeraj Verma and color art by Sabine Rich; the synopsis: “Lady Death is awakened from a spell-induced slumber. Who among her depraved enemies is responsible for robbing the last two decades of her existence? How long until she exacts bloody vengeance? Featuring the alluring and cruel diva of death as only creator Brian Pulido can write her! Chock full of sex, violence, epic clashes and very, very bad behavior!”

“If you haven’t read LADY DEATH in a while, I cordially invite you to get CHAOS RULES,” Pulido says. “This is a wild quest chock full of twists, turns and surprises. It is a vision of hell never seen before in a LADY DEATH comic, and it is ground zero for all-new Lady Death stories to come from my fevered mind—and with Kickstarter, there is no one between you and me!” Perks include various limited editions of CHAOS RULES, along with other LADY DEATH special editions, cards, etc. Some are already gone, so head over to the Kickstarter page to check ’em out!
