Knockout shocker “BIG BAD WOLVES” gets a date and a poster

One of the very best films to hit the genre-fest circuit this past year (that’s me saying it, not just Quentin Tarantino) has now been dated for U.S. release, and there’s a new poster to go with the news.

Indiewire http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/exclusive-stylish-poster-for-big-bad-wolves-named-best-film-of-2013-by-quentin-tarantino-20131209 premiered the one-sheet Magnolia Pictures/Magnet Releasing has come up with for BIG BAD WOLVES, which hits VOD and select theaters January 17. Written and directed by the Israeli RABIES team of Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, the movie is about a series of child murders investigated by a vigilante cop, who is certain that a meek schoolteacher is the culprit—as is the vengeful father of one of the victims. Lior Ashkenazi, Rotem Keinan, Tzahi Grad and Dov Glickman star; you can see our review here, look for coverage in a future issue of Fango and check out the movie’s official website and Facebook page.
