J.J. Abrams’ “10 CLOVERFIELD LANE” poster and official trailer appear

After appearing overnight in a few taped-off-the-screen videos, the trailer for the CLOVERFIELD follow-up is now officially on-line, and there’s a poster and more info to go with it.

First unveiled attached to prints of Paramount’s 13 HOURS, the preview for 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE, which the studio releases March 11, can be seen below, along with the one-sheet. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who has previously helmed short films and commercials and was once attached to the feature adaptation of the Vertigo comic Y: THE LAST MAN, the movie was scripted by Josh Campbell, Matthew Stuecken and WHIPLASH director/GRAND PIANO scripter Damien Chazelle, and stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman, John Gallagher, Jr., Mat Vairo and Maya Erskine. Shot in New Orleans in late 2014, the project was previously known as THE CELLAR and VALENCIA, and takes place in an underground bunker, where a young woman (Winstead) wakes up and learns from the man (Goodman) who brought her there that the outside world is uninhabitable due to some sort of horrific disaster. We’ll keep you posted on further 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE developments.
