IFC Films makes a “PACT” for the sequel; new photoMovies/TV,News Michael Gingold
One of the more highly regarded independent horror films of the last couple of years, THE PACT, has been sequelized, and the follow-up is now set for U.S. play.
IFC Films, which released the original, has announced it has picked up the Stateside theatrical rights to THE PACT 2, for release under its IFC Midnight banner. Dallas Richard Hallam and Patrick Horvath, who made the creepy ENTRANCE, directed, and the film stars Camilla Luddington (pictured above) as June, a woman who suffers lucid nightmares so vivid that they threaten her waking life. Also starring are Patrick Fischler, Scott Michael Foster, Haley Hudson, Mark Steger and previous PACT heroine Caity Lotz; producer Ross M. Dinerstein also returned from the first film. “Dallas and Patrick did a tremendous job taking the world of THE PACT to the next level,” Dinerstein says, “and we are thrilled that IFC Midnight is back to distribute. THE PACT 2 will satisfy fans even more than the first one.”
