After winning positive response at festivals, the horror-thriller SHUT IN has been rechristened and had its opening date moved up by a month.
Momentum Pictures has given the film the new moniker INTRUDERS and shifted it from February 19 to January 15, when it will hit select theaters and VOD. Directed by Adam Schindler from a script by T.J. Cimfel and David White, the film stars Beth Risegraf (pictured above) as Anna, a girl suffering from extreme agoraphobia that prevents her from fleeing when a trio of violent criminals (one played by Martin Starr from DEAD SNOW 2 and SUPERBAD) break into her home, thinking it’s empty. Instead, she turns the tables and begins playing some nasty tricks on the invaders. The producing team includes Steven Schneider of INSIDIOUS and PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and Christa Campbell, the former actress whose credits behind the camera include STONEHEARST ASYLUM, TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D and the upcoming LEATHERFACE.
