“HEMLOCK GROVE” Season 2 Teased and Dated

Whether you loved or hated it, the polarizing HEMLOCK GROVE was a big success for Netflix and now, its return has been dated and given a Famke Janssen-enhanced teaser.

Produced by Eli Roth, the show took on a new showrunner after its divisive first season from DEXTER alum Charles “Chic” Eglee, who joins co-showrunners Brian McGreevey and Lee Shipman. Eglee’s addition also came following the exit of series writer/director Deran Sarafian and co-showrunner Mark Verheiden. Otherwise, courtesy of IGN, the supernatural soap opera will return to Netflix with 10 brand new episodes on July 11th, bringing back stars Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Landon Liboiron, and Bill Sarsgaard with it.

For fans of Roth, the second season of HEMLOCK GROVE will be one of at least four projects from the filmmaker in 2014,which includes Ti West’s THE SACRAMENT and Jon Watts’ CLOWN, both of which he produced, as well as his first directorial feature in seven years, THE GREEN INFERNO. And for those who need a taste of what’s to come, you can check out the ominous announcement teaser below.
