“HEMLOCK GROVE”: Four new trailers introduce the carnage, characters and town
The upcoming Eli Roth-shepherded Netflix original series HEMLOCK GROVE revolves around a murder. One, that seems to reveal a whole lot about the class divides, soapy sexual misdeeds and monstrous nature of the Pennsylvania steel town it’s set in.
Premiering in its entirety April 19 on Netflix, and adapted from Brian McGreevy’s novel of the same name, the series sees the murder of a young girl in the ravaged town of Hemlock Grove, where suspicions rise that the culprit might not be human—and may have escaped from a nearby biotech facility. Suspects also include Roman Godfrey and Peter Rumancek (Bill Skarsgård and Landon Liboiron), one junior playboy and one piece of “gypsy trash,” who as seen below, intersect each other’s lives through the mayhem that surrounds them. The four latest trailers inspect the many facets of life in HEMLOCK, from family dynamics, to physical transformation and all facilitated through some serious stylistic flourish.
Famke Janssen, Lily Taylor and Dougray Scott co-star.
