Grindhouse Releasing Unleashes “CAT IN THE BRAIN” on Blu-ray this Summer!

,

If you ask a dozen horror fans about which splattery option from Lucio Fulci’s ouevre was their favorite, you would probably receive twelve different answers. Luckily, with boutique Blu-ray labels doing their due diligence, even the most obscure and shocking Fulci flicks have found their way to a whole new generation of horror heads. Now, Grindhouse Releasing- who previously did right by the filmmaker with their astounding release of THE BEYOND- is bringing one of Fulci’s bloodiest, most insane terror titles to Blu-ray: 1990’s CAT IN THE BRAIN!

Starring Fulci (playing himself!), here’s the official synopsis for the unfamiliar…

Acclaimed Italian horror maestro Lucio Fulci, director of ZOMBIE and THE BEYOND, stars in this blood-soaked epic as a director being driven insane by his own movies. Fulci is thrust into an ultra-violent nightmare of death and depravity where murder and madness consume his sanity in a vortex of violence.
