“GODZILLA” Teasing Continues in International TrailerMovies/TV,News Samuel Zimmerman
The name of the GODZILLA game has truly been “tease.” Each new trailer brings some obfuscated image of the grandest of giant monsters, be it doors closing on its roar, or red flares lighting the texture of its body. It’s certainly a thrilling campaign, one in which moody images of disaster hang just on the edge of a full Godzilla emergence and have the viewer essentially dying for the end result of all of this. Essentially, the latest international spot is no different, complete with the towering Godzilla, shrouded in dust and smoke.
Directed by Gareth Edwards (MONSTERS), and produced by Warner Bros., Legendary and Toho, GODZILLA “pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.” Juliette Binoche, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ken Watanabe star.
GODZILLA is in theaters May 16.
