PRIMITIVEEXCPICSNEWS1Lionsgate Home Entertainment releases PRIMITIVE, produced and directed by Benjamin Cooper from a script by Kenneth L. Province Jr., November 19 on DVD, digital download, video-on-demand and pay-per-view. Matt O’Neill stars as Martin Blaine, a makeup FX artist ordered into anger-management therapy after punching the director of his latest film. When he learns of his mother’s mysterious death, he returns to his hometown of Baronville, where the locals start getting killed in violent ways. Sheriff Monaker (Monty Wall) believes Martin is somehow responsible, and Martin himself, who has had nightmares about the murders, comes to believe his own inner demon is manifesting into a monster.

Bannister plays Dr. Stein, and Kristin Lorenz, Jeff Ryan, Mike Zehr, Rachel Riley, Carl Edge and Gregory Paul Smith round out the cast; the makeup FX were created by Tom Devlin, who has a long list of indie credits and appeared on the first season of Syfy’s FACE OFF. The disc, retailing for $26.98, will include:
