Go ghost-hunting (for real!) with Dread Central in San DiegoBooks/Art/Culture,News Fangoria Staff
For horror fans tired of the sweaty crowds at San Diego Comic-Con (opening next week), get in touch with your paranormal side and investigate a real Southern California haunted house beginning tonight!
Our friends at Dread Central have partnered with the Gas Lamp Museum and the San Diego Ghost Hunters to explore the spooks-a-poppin’ William Heath Davis House (410 Island Avenue) from Thursday through Saturday (July 18-20). Note: This isn’t some Spooky World or Halloween Horror Nights attraction! This is the real deal! Authenticated otherworldly events have been documented at this place, and now you can (safely) take part in an actual haunt investigation, twice nightly at 9 p.m. and midnight (of course). Exclusive tickets run either $60 or $100 (with the money going to the upkeep of this landmark), but this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to channel your inner Venkman and poke around an actual supernatural hotspot. You can find the full details here. Make the Winchester boys proud!
