First Trailer: Jeremy Benson’s Psychological Horror “GIRL IN WOODS”

GIRL IN WOODS_STILL2

For those eagerly awaiting the follow-up to Jeremy Benson’s grisly indie horror LIVE ANIMALS, you’re in luck, as FANGORIA has the first blood-soaked trailer to his upcoming thriller GIRL IN WOODS.

Starring Juliet Reeves, Charisma Carpenter and Jeremy London, GIRL IN WOODS follows a woman stranded in the forest when her husband is accidentally incapacitated during an excursion, and her fight to retain her sanity as her haunted past creeps back into consciousness. Benson’s film promises madness and monstrocity, but is any of it real or is it all in the head of its heroine?

Shot over 32 days, most of which was spent in Tennesee’s Great Smoky Mountains, GIRL IN WOODS looks atmospheric, disturbing and more than a little creepy. Currently without a release date, you can see for yourself in the trailer below!
