Full Trailer: “[REC] 4: APOCALYPSE”

Less than two weeks from its World Premiere in the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto International Film Festival, a new  trailer for highly anticipated sequel and supposed finale [REC] 4: APOCALYPSE has debuted online.

Posted in anticipation of its Halloween release overseas, the latest preview of the fourth [REC] film unfortunately isn’t subtitled, but it’s not exactly hard to follow anyway. Directed by Jaume Balaguero (co-creator of the series alongside Paco Plaza), APOCALYPSE follows up the intense climax of [REC] 2 and finds our favorite newswoman Angela Vidal in quarantine on an ocean liner. The TIFF’s Film Guide synopsis follows: “Angela wakes up in a high-security quarantine facility located in the bowels of an ocean freighter. She’s safe and sound — but unfortunately for her and her unlucky shipmates, this isolated location might just be the perfect incubator for the next mutation of a virus that rips apart bodies and souls.”

Get a taste of the mayhem in store, and expect a full review on Fango following the film’s premiere. For more, visit [REC] 4: APOCALYPSE at TIFF and on Facebook.
