Full details revealed for Scream Factory’s “LARRY FESSENDEN COLLECTION” Blu-ray set

The award-winning creator of some of the best modern indie horror and head honcho of Glass Eye Pix gets his hi-def due in THE LARRY FESSENDEN COLLECTION, a Blu-ray package coming next month. The complete details have just been revealed.

Shout! Factory will release the set on its Scream Factory label, in conjunction with IFC Midnight, on October 20. Each of Fessenden’s directorial ventures—the animal-experimentation thriller NO TELLING (1991), the Manhattan vampire/romantic drama HABIT (1995), the mythological chiller WENDIGO (2001) and the Arctic-set nature-vs.-humanity opus THE LAST WINTER (2006, pictured above)—will be presented in new, filmmaker-approved HD transfers. A 24-page booklet with never-before-seen photos, storyboards and sketches (plus—full disclosure—liner notes by yours truly) will be included. Retail price is $79.97, but it can be pre-ordered from the Shout!
