Full Cast, Details: Sci-Fi Thriller “PARALLEL”, from “THE SIMILARS” filmmaker Isaac Ezban!

For this writer’s money, one of the genre filmmakers to keep a very close eye on in the coming years is Isaac Ezban. With his twisty, TWILIGHT ZONE-esque films such as THE INCIDENT and the upcoming THE SIMILARS, Ezban uses an ambitious cinematic vision to tell stories that are surprisingly both simplistic and spectacular. However, as U.S. audiences await his thrilling tales of sci-fi dread, the Mexico-born filmmaker already has his next film in the chamber: PARALLEL. With Ezban’s English language debut (written by Scott Blaszak) beginning production on November 9th in Vancouver, FANGORIA is excited to announce the full cast of PARALLEL!

For those unfamiliar, here’s the official synopsis for Isaac Ezban’s PARALLEL…

PARALLEL follows four young app entrepreneurs who discover a mirror in the attic of their rental house that’s a portal to parallel universes, with a time differential that makes it possible for them to access the future of these alternate worlds and bring it back home.

In addition to the previously announced Martin Wallstrom (MR. ROBOT) and Georgia King (BURKE AND HARE), PARALLEL rounds out its cast with Aml Ameen (SENSE8), Alyssa Diaz (RAY DONOVAN), and Mark O’Brien (ARRIVAL). PARALLEL is one of the first projects from The Realm, the genre-centric label of Bron Media Corp that is also behind the upcoming Marcel Sarmiento Werewolf film THE WILDNESS.

For those who want to see Ezban’s other mind-bending thrillers, you’re in luck: THE SIMILARS will be hitting VOD and select theatrical engagements on November 15th from XLrator Media, while THE INCIDENT is expected to bow in the U.S. later this year. Stay tuned for more from Ezban and PARALLEL here at FANGORIA.com!
