Frightening fest favorite “IN FEAR” gets U.S. dates


Following its well-received premiere at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and other fest appearances, writer/director Jeremy Lovering’s IN FEAR is now set to terrify general Stateside audiences.

Anchor Bay Films has announced that it will give IN FEAR select theatrical bookings starting Friday, March 7 followed by DVD, Blu-ray and VOD release March 11. Shot in real time, the movie centers on Tom (Iain De Caestecker) and Lucy (Alice Englert), a young couple who get lost while driving through the country and are terrorized by an unseen tormentor. The discs will present the movie in anamorphic 2.35:1 widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound on the DVD and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio on the Blu-ray, with a behind-the-scenes featurette.
