FANGORIA will host a free screening of the new Jeffrey Combs
horror-thriller WOULD YOU RATHER on Thursday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m. at New
York City’s IFC Center (323 Sixth Avenue at 3rd
Street; 212-924-7771). Directed by David Guy Levy, WOULD YOU RATHER also stars
THE VICIOUS KIND’s Brittany Snow, C.H.U.D.’s John Heard and SMASH CUT’s Sasha
Grey in the tale of an aristocratic madman and the victims he forces to play a
deadly game. See below for more details and pics.

The Fango screening of WOULD YOU RATHER will be a free show; to obtain tickets, send an e-mail to
fangoriascreening@gmail.com. You
must list “WOULD YOU RATHER” as your subject line. Offer is good for you
and one guest. Names will be checked at the door, so tell us your full name in
the e-mail. Offer is first come, first served, and we will confirm your RSVP.
Seating is not guaranteed, however. This advance preview is presented by IFC
Films, which opens WOULD YOU RATHER on February 8 in limited release and VOD.

Here’s WOULD YOU RATHER’s official synopsis: “In the wake of
her parents’ death, Iris [Snow] struggles to make ends meet while caring for
her terminally ill younger brother. Shepard Lambrick [Combs], a seemingly
philanthropic aristocrat, expresses an interest in helping them. When he
invites her to an exclusive dinner party, she accepts. Also attending the
dinner party are seven more desperate individuals. They soon find themselves
trapped in Lambrick’s mansion and forced to play a sadistic game of Would You
Rather, where the winner will be awarded untold amounts of money. As the game
progresses, the dilemmas Iris and the other players face grow increasingly
deadly.”

Head here to see the film’s trailer and exclusive pics, and look for an interview with
Combs at this site next week. See you at the show!
