Found Footage… For Real: Astron-6’s “BIO-COP” TrailerFearful Features,Movies/TV,News Ken W. Hanley
Earlier this year, the dependable folks over at Astron-6 unveiled the first teaser for their upcoming web series, DIVORCED DAD. A recent convert to the cult of Astron-6 (I believe my first of many viewings of FATHER’S DAY was in Fall of 2014), DIVORCED DAD looked exactly like the kind of homegrown horror comedy that fright fans needed, and even outside of the article, this writer did his due diligence spreading the word. Yet while conversing with a fellow, more informed Astron-6 fan about DIVORCED DAD teaser, he had mentioned the upcoming film THE VOID from the Astron-6 members Jeremy Gillespie & Steve Kostanski and a video perk for a character I was completely unaware of: Bio-Cop!
After expressing my ignorance for all things BIO-COP, this friend of mine quickly scoured the internet and directed me to the video you’ll see below, a 5-minute concoction of bizarre, gruesome insanity that is as absolutely hilarious as it is jaw-droppingly horrific. Attached to the end of MANBORG (which you can pick up HERE), this faux trailer is the more disgusting, depraved cousin to the likes of MANIAC COP and C.H.U.D., and there’s nary a soul out there that wouldn’t benefit from watching the precious few moments of BIO-COP in all of its gruesome glory. You can check out this BIO-COP faux trailer below and be sure to keep an eye out for DIVORCED DAD on the first and third weekend of every month over at Astron-6’s official website HERE.
