Flesheating Jesus in “PRINCE OF PIECES”: Exclusive art, release infoBooks/Art/Culture,News Michael Gingold
We previously told you here about the upcoming graphic novel PRINCE OF PIECES, in which Jesus Christ is anything but peaceable, and now we’ve got the word on when it’s coming out, plus a couple of exclusive art samples.
Creator Sam Miserendino sent along the following update: “PRINCE OF PIECES has been picked up by Creator’s Edge Press, and is scheduled for release September 20. I’m really psyched that PRINCE has found a home with a publisher that is committed to promoting innovative works that push the envelope—which a satirical graphic novel about a vengeful, flesheating Christ does in blasphemous abundance. The comic has generated a lot of interest during its development, and I’m incredibly excited that it will be available soon.”
In the book, illustrated by Colin Blanton, the Son of God returns to punish sinners in all manner of grisly and colorful ways. You can read more about PRINCE OF PIECES at its official website and Facebook page.
