A young man played by GAME OF THRONES’ Jacob Anderson gets literally high on life when he’s forced to fight for survival while drugged in COMEDOWN, a stalker film out this summer. Read on for the release info and the first look at the poster and some photos.
The Orchard and Shock Till You Drop will issue COMEDOWN on iTunes, Amazon and other VOD platforms August 5. Directed by Menhaj Huda from a script by Steven Kendall, the Brit chiller follows a group of childhood friends into the now-abandoned tower block they used to live in, where they plan to set up a pirate radio station and party it up. Lloyd (Anderson) has determined to stay sober, but he winds up getting drugged as a joke, and when they group start getting stalked by a mysterious psychopath, he has to deal with the situation while under the influence. The cast also includes Sophie Stuckey, Adam Deacon, Jessica Barden, Calum McNab and Duane Henry; SHAUN OF THE DEAD’s Stuart Conran and THE DESCENT’s Paul Hyett were among the prosthetics team.
