First news/art: “JOHN DIES AT THE END” on disc

JOHN DIES AT THE END posted terrific box office in its first
weekend at an LA theater (an estimated $14,000) and is heading to more venues
in the coming weeks (details here),
and now word has come down on what the eventual DVD and Blu-ray will contain,
along with a first look at the cover.

Magnolia Home Entertainment will release JOHN DIES AT THE
END on disc April 2 on the Magnet Releasing label. Don Coscarelli’s adaptation
of David Wong’s book, about two college dropouts facing weird beings from
another dimension, will be accompanied by a big batch of extras:

• Audio commentary by Coscarelli, producer Brad Baruh and
stars Chase Williamson and Rob Mayes

• FANGORIA interviews with Coscarelli and co-star Paul Giamatti

• Deleted scenes

Retail prices are $26.98 for the DVD, $29.98 for the
