First “JU-ON: BEGINNING OF THE END” Teaser Recalls The Rattle

If there was any question that JU-ON, as a series, as a legacy, is iconic, then take a look at the new film’s (JU-ON: BEGINNING OF THE END) first teaser trailer. Before an image flashes onscreen for the Japanese June release, that familiar croak kicks in and, at least on this end, eyes winced and shoulders raised.

Announced just earlier this month as production began, JU-ON: BEGINNING OF THE END is slated for crazy turnaround and a June 28 release in Japan. The film, aka JU-ON: OWARI NO HAJIMARI, finds an elementary school teacher named Yui visit the home of a boy named Toshio Saeki who’s been absent from school for a long period of time. When she arrives, she re-lives the horrific tragedy which occurred in the Saeki household 10 years earlier. A cardboard box left in a closet holds the key to revealing a long-hidden truth. Ochiai Masayuki (INFECTION) directs.
