First Art: Cult Thriller “FAULTS”, starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Hot off the announcement that their second collaboration with Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett, THE GUEST, would be premiering at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, Snoot Entertainment producers Keith Calder and Jessica Wu have gathered genre-friendly actors Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Leland Orser for their latest thriller, FAULTS.

The film follows Winstead as a brainwashed member of a cult named Faults as she is rescued by her parents to be deprogrammed by a man well versed in cult mind control techniques (Orser).

The film co-stars Lance Reddick, Beth Grant and Jon Gries, and has already completed principal photography under Riley Stearns, who makes his feature film directorial debut [see his awesome short THE CUB below]. There has been no distributor attached to the film just yet, but with the cast and intriguing premise, don’t expect to wait too long before the film makes the festival rounds.
