FANGORIA Podcast Network: “THE GIRLS IN THE BACK ROW” Stay Up For “NIGHT OF THE CREEPS”!Books/Art/Culture,Features/Interviews,Home,News Fangoria Staff
With a new month comes a new theme for THE GIRLS IN THE BACK ROW, with Kate & Tab deliberating on contemporary and classic fright fare new to one or both of them. For April, the theme moves from the heavy “March Madness” to the much lighter “Dance Until You Die,” checking out horror offerings that prominently features proms and dances. And for their first episode in this scary series, THE GIRLS IN THE BACK ROW check out one of the most fun ‘80s cult classics out there: Fred Dekker’s NIGHT OF THE CREEPS!
That’s right: Tab introduces Kate to this underrated genre gem, which pays tribute to B-horror from throughout the genre’s history and takes place on the eve of a Formal. Will the demonic duo find much to love about Dekker’s love letter to zombies, aliens and axe murderers? Or will they find NIGHT OF THE CREEPS to be a slug-sized pain in the brain?
